Interventional Neuroradiology
OHSU is one of the few centers in the country that performs cavernous sinus sampling (CSS)
for the localization of ACTH producing Cushing's tumors. As part of the Dotter Interventional Institute
of OHSU, the Interventional Neuroradiology program makes this very specialized diagnostic tool
available for the management of pituitary tumor patients at OHSU.
Services Offered
- Studies are performed in a state-of-the-art interventional radiology suite.
- Cavernous sinus sampling or petrosal sinus sampling for localization of ACTH producing Cushing's tumors.
- OHSU Interventional Neuroradiologists perform these interventional studies.
- Services are offered to OHSU physicians as well as to referring clinicians from outside institutions.
