Neuroendocrine Testing

The ability to accurately evaluate pituitary hormone function often requires special dynamic studies performed by a physician or registered nurse experienced in conducting such studies. The neuroendocrine testing unit at OHSU provides this service for endocrine patients. Testing may be done both pre and post-operatively to access pituitary function. Dynamic testing is often part of the evaluation of the pituitary patient in making a diagnosis.
